Cacao

What is Cacao

Cacao is a sacred plant medicine for gentle heart opening.

It is a beautiful ritual used in an intentional space inviting presence, gratitude and connection.

The spirit of cacao, also known as “Mama Cacao” holds space for inner reflection and creative inspiration.

Cacao invokes qualities of the feminine such as softness, nurturing, intuition, and receptivity. Often referred to as a "Grandmother" spirit in ceremonial traditions, it guides individuals toward deep emotional healing, self-love, and connection to the body.

Cacao to soften the heart

Cacao cacao offers a gentle, "velvety" experience that helps soften the heart and calm the nervous system. It invites participants to slow down, be present, and surrender to emotions without judgment.

Cacao FAQ’s:

What makes "Ceremonial Grade" different from regular cocoa powder?

Unlike processed cocoa, ceremonial-grade cacao is made from heirloom beans that are fermented, lightly toasted, and stone-ground into a whole paste. This minimal processing preserves the cacao butter and high concentrations of theobromine and antioxidants, maintaining the plant's natural "spirit" and health benefits.

Will cacao make me feel "high" or jittery like coffee?

Cacao contains very little caffeine; its primary stimulant is theobromine, which offers a grounded, long-lasting energy without the "crash." Instead of a nervous buzz, most people experience a gentle heart-opening sensation, increased focus, and a natural lift in mood.

How often can I drink ceremonial cacao?

While a small "meditation dose" (15–20g) can be enjoyed daily as a mindful ritual, a full "ceremonial dose" (40g+) is quite potent and usually reserved for deeper weekly or monthly work. Always listen to your body and stay well-hydrated, as cacao is a natural diuretic.
